Hotel Neptune has a very long history of 40 years of existance. It was one among the favourite hotels in Kovalam during the eighties and nineties. It used to perform the Kerala traditional art forms and the guests enjoyed the Kathakali, pullanguzhal and other art forms till the late nineties. The hotel remained closed for nearly 20 years.

Hotel Neptune remained closed to tourists till 2019 when the present management acquired the property and started to rebuild. The old structure is demolished and the present hotel is constructed. The property has been developed in a phased manner keeping priority to the guests. Now guests enjoy the quieter stay at Hotel Neptune Kovalam.
